    [Burbank](/builders/burbank) is one of Queensland's established volume builders, active primarily across Pimpama, Coomera, the Gold Coast northern corridor, and selected Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast estates. [Burbank](/builders/burbank) positions itself at the upper end of the volume builder market — their homes feature more design-forward inclusions and larger floor plans than entry-level volume builder offerings.

    This higher specification level affects the inspection profile. More fixtures, more complex wet area configurations, more cabinetry, and more contract items create more points of potential non-compliance — and require more attention at PCI stage.

    Waterproofing and Wet Area Compliance

    Shower membrane height non-compliance is the most consistent finding on Burbank builds across all SEQ regions. Required minimum is 1800mm on all shower walls.     Finishing and External Works

    Burbank homes are specified at a level where finishing trade defects — paint, tiles, joinery — are more noticeable against the premium finish expectation. Paint defects, tile selection discrepancies, and cabinetry alignment issues are found at rates consistent with the general volume builder market but are more significant given the premium positioning.

    Site drainage and landscaping compliance are also consistent findings on Burbank builds — as with all volume builders, the pressure to complete homes to schedule means external works are frequently incomplete at the practical completion notice date.
