Pre-Pour Slab Checklist
Before the concrete pour
Site prep, fill, formwork, waffle pods, reinforcement, vapour barrier, termite barrier, plumbing penetrations and the concrete mix — everything that disappears the moment the trucks arrive.

Post-Pour Slab Checklist
After the slab is poured
Slab dimensions and set-out, edge beams, surface finish, cracking, step-downs and penetrations — checked against the engineering plan before the frame goes up.

Timber Frame Checklist
Frame stage — timber
Wall frames, bracing, tie-downs, lintels, stud spacing and roof trusses — the structural tie-down and bracing that the plaster will soon hide.

Steel Frame Checklist
Frame stage — steel
Steel wall frames and trusses, fixings and brackets, bracing, bearing and corrosion protection — the steel-framing equivalents checked before lining.

Pre-Plaster Checklist
Rough-in / lock-up
Plumbing and electrical rough-in, insulation, window and door installation, noggins and fixing — the last look before the plasterboard goes on.

Waterproofing & Enclosed Checklist
After membrane, before tiling
Membrane heights, floor-to-wall junctions, penetrations, hobs and external falls — the hidden wet-area system checked while it is still visible and correctable.

Practical Completion (PCI) Checklist
Before you hand over / pay the final claim
Room-by-room finishes, doors and windows, cabinetry, tiling, paint, external works and the hundreds of small items a handover walk-through misses.
