How much does a building inspection cost at Elara?
PCI and handover inspections start from $660. Stage inspections from $550 per stage. Your detailed PDF report with photos is included — no hidden fees.
Which builders does VG Inspect inspect at Elara?
All of them. VG Inspect is fully independent and inspects homes by any builder active at Elara including volume builders and boutique builders. We work for you, not your builder.
Can my builder stop me from getting an independent inspection at Elara?
No. Under Queensland law and standard construction contracts you have the right to have an independent inspector attend your property at any stage of construction. Your builder cannot legally refuse access.
When should I book my inspection at Elara?
For a PCI, book as soon as your builder notifies you of a handover date — ideally 3–5 business days before you're due to accept the keys. For stage inspections, book as soon as you're notified the stage is complete. We offer same-week availability across all Elara stages.
Do you cover all stages of Elara?
Yes — VG Inspect covers all active stages and surrounding suburbs. If your lot is within the Elara development area, we cover it.
